Easycraft spinning wheels were handmade by M.D. Johnson (sometimes referred to as J.D. Johnson) in Christchurch, New Zealand, primarily during the 1960s and 1970s. These wheels are well-regarded by collectors for their manual craftsmanship, often featuring unique hand-cut details rather than mass-produced CNC parts
