Ernest Haas - La Seurte de Varas Pamplona Spain Signed Beaumont 280 x 375mm Legendary Austrian photographer Ernst Haas revolutionized photography with his iconic 1950s and 1960s bullfighting images. By using slow shutter speeds and panning, he captured the dynamic motion and "dance" of the matador and bull rather than focusing on the gore Digital Camera World.Ernst Haas captured his most famous bullfighting photographs in Spain, notably in Pamplona and Arles during the mid-1950s The Metropolitan Museum of Art. His technique—which became a hallmark of his pioneering color photography—intrigued even Pablo Picasso . During a bullfight in the late 1950s, Picasso showed a Life magazine spread of Haas' blurred, motion-filled bullfight shots to another photographer as an example of masterful visual art
