Lot Details

Comprising Fourteen Large Dinner Plates Eight Dessert Bowls Eight Soup Bowls Eight Cereal Bowls Eight Small Bowls Eight Entree Plates Six Side Plates Eight Cups & Saucers • Designer: Created by Ulla Procopé during the golden era of Finnish design, entering production in 1960 and continuing through the late 1990s. • Aesthetics: Features a distinctive, mottled brown and earthy reactive glaze created by applying powdered iron, giving each piece an artisanal, smoky, Raku-like appearance. • Innovation: It was the first mass-produced utilitarian tableware line by Arabia to use a matte glaze.
