James Huckstep enlished in the 58th in 1841 Arrived in New Zealand & Served as a drummer in NZ and subsequently as a private and corporal. Took his discharge in Auckland in 1857 Scarce medal to the 58th - medals issued in 1869 so most were unclaimed.
