Signed. H750 x W1030mm Gypsy Poulston was a well known South Canterbury artist. She taught art at Craighead Diocesan School for Girls in Timaru for many years and was married to fellow artist Eddie Poulston. She worked across many mediums including oils, charcoal, watercolour and stone. She is also known for designing a number of stained glass windows for churches in Timaru- including Craighead Chapel, St Johns Anglican Church, Woodlands Road Methodist Church and the Wilson Street Baptist Church.
