Tround" is a portmanteau for the triangular bottles used for Glenfiddich and other William Grant & Sons whiskies, a design pioneered in 1957 by graphic designer Hans Schleger. The bottle's three-sided shape symbolizes the key ingredients of whisky: water, air (or barley), and fire (or a distillery's peat smoke), and the V-shape on the glass represents the "Valley of the Deer"
