The interior of the box contains glass jars individually partitioned. Below the bottles is a large drawer which locks via a pull-out brass pin located next to the lock plate. Once the locking pin is removed the drawer opens to reveal a selection of apothecary jars. The Apothecary box dates to the early Victorian period circa 1845. Width: 210mm Length: 290mm Height: 250mm
