Lot Details
H 345 x W 180 mm Sharpe Bros stoneware jar with a metal wire handle around the spout. The jar is cream / white with brown at the top. The Sharpe Brothers were soft drink and cordial manufacturers from 1903 to 1972 when they were taken over by Cadbury Schweppes. The Sharpe Brothers were most known for their ginger beer in one-gallon stone jars. The business was begun by John Sharpe in Dunedin and continued by his sons William and John after his death. They had factories in both New Zealand and Australia.
