House of Huia is thrilled to present the New Zealand Banknote Auction with the highlight lot being New Zealand's scarcest banknote - the coveted Lefeaux 50 Pound. The sale has a whopping three 50 pound banknotes signed by Hanna, Wilson & Lefeaux an almost impossible line up of high denomination pre decimal paper currency. There are a good range of New Zealand Trading banknotes which show case the wide variety of New Zealand paper currency before a standardised monetary policy was bought in. The sale has an excellent selection across all New Zealand signatories both pre decimal and post decimal. The 100 Dollar Fleming banknote as well as the large selection of consecutive, interesting and error decimal notes will leave collectors on edge for the entire auction!
