Militaria Auction Part I Saturday, 28 March 2026 / 11:00 am start
The first Militaria Auction of 2026 is an auction not to be missed. With nearly 800 lots presented across two parts, it offers an exceptional breadth of material sure to enthral and intrigue collectors. Part I opens with a strong selection of edged weapons, with Japanese katana and wakizashi of particular note. The sale then moves through an impressive array of dummy bombs and battlefield equipment, before presenting a diverse offering of military badges, sweetheart pieces, and awards. A standout section follows, featuring an extensive collection of medal groups—predominantly to New Zealand servicemen—including not one, but two QSA/KSA groups to Kiwis, an especially scarce and desirable highlight. Part II continues the momentum with further edged weapons and battlefield material, followed by a large selection of badges, medals, ephemera, and books, including a significant run of official WWII histories. Part I will be held live and online at our rooms, 27 Lunns Road, while Part II will be conducted online only from 6pm.
