An absolutely incredible auction is this week's Antique & Taxidermy Sale, a truly remarkable collection spanning centuries of craftsmanship and natural history. The sale opens with a stunning selection of 30-year-old buxus topiary, including the extremely sought-after pair of topiary chickens, a rare find for any serious garden collector. Automotive fans are well catered for with three vintage fuel pumps in incredible restored condition; the Europa pump is a particularly evocative piece of New Zealand petrol retail history. True to its name, the Antique & Taxidermy Sale does not disappoint, featuring an extraordinary range of taxidermy throughout. Highlights include a vibrant toucan, an entire zebra and donkey, and a remarkable selection of skulls, among them hippo and giraffe, pieces that command attention in any setting.
