Chambers's Miscellany of Useful and Entertaining Tracts, Vol 17. &18. William Chambers (1800–1883) and Robert Chambers (1802–1871) W. and R. Chambers, Edinburgh First Edition 1847 Octavo (8ov) Condition commensurate with age. Original binding, tear at top back of leather spine, wear to paper boards, corners worn. Missing page, first leaf missing (pages 1 and 2) due to cracked front hinge. Browning to pages, some foxing throughout. Light stamp mark to front endpaper, and flyleaf. Inscription on front flyleaf, dated august 16th 1848. Water damage to title page.
