40cm x 28.5cm. 104 pages, illustrations, maps, some colour, some tipped in. Quarter leather, gilt lettering and decoration, clamshell folder. Pre-1850, though mostly 1838-50 sketches and maps of Banks Peninsula, on the east coast of the South Island of New Zealand, by French and British visitors to the region. Signed By Author
