Original binding in contemporary full leather bindings (mottled calf ) with gilt-stamped details on the spine. wear and flaking to edges and corners and fragile pages. The three-volume 1790 edition of Robinson Crusoe by Daniel Defoe is a highly sought-after antiquarian set printed by the Logographic Press in London and sold by J. Walter. This specific printing is notable for using an innovative typesetting technique (logography) and for collecting Defoe's complete trilogy into one uniform publication
