Lot Details
Silver plated fork with hallmarks for “Rodgers” “EP” Sheffield from the wardroom of the Discovery. Engraved to the body of the fork is “Discovery” with comparable examples held by the Canterbury Museum, Scott Polar Research Institute and Discovery Point, Dundee. These forks were used exclusively by officers and members of the scientific crew including Scott, Wilson and Shackleton.
