Walter Bowring (1874-1931) Fight at Port Arthur Ink & Gouache on board Unsigned & Undated 457 x 410mm The Press' private archive of Walter Bowring Additional Information: Unframed with drawn border and sketches/notes around border. Marked and Ink stained, with rough edges on card and foxing. Including graphite transfer. In a worn aged condition. Embossed impression on bottom left corner from 'Goodall's Bristol Boards' As both an artistic creation and a historical document, the work serves as an important resource for the study of regional history.
